Andrew Clarke has lived and worked in Asia for nearly 20 years, most recently as a consultant and previously as regional manager for the world's leading premium drinks company. His experience in key markets in Asia, including China and most of Southeast Asia, has been sought by MNCs and local companies alike.

For the past 6 years, while managing his own consultancy based in Jakarta, Andrew has used his skills as an insightful, visionary leader with a strategic mindset to the benefit of his clients. His experience in business turnarounds, identifying and enrolling stakeholders, maximising shareholder returns and managing risk was developed over his long career and serves his clients well.

Andrew had eleven roles at Diageo plc over his career, culminating as Managing Director Asia for the beer and ready to drink businesses, a pan Asia role managing fully owned and joint venture operations with a significant trading profit. Other positions at Diageo included Managing Director - China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, and Managing Director - Indonesia.

Having a strong interest in education and the welfare of children, Andrew serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors at the British International School in Jakarta, helping to lead the school through a period of change; this is a voluntary position. He also assists at Sekolah Bisa, a charity school for underprivileged children in Jakarta.

In what little spare time Andrew has, he enjoys competitive cycle racing in all its forms: road, track and mountain biking. He was a champion and record-breaker in his youth and still competes at the national level in the UK.
